Happy 2020! We hope you had a terrific holiday season and are excited for a fresh new year.
Here at Olivia’s, 2019 was one for the books! From giving back to our communities to providing more healthy and delicious produce to keeping it fresh with new products and blends. We’re going into the new year feeling extra excited and want to share a few ideas to help kick-start your freshest year yet!
1. Sneak in more greens! A simple way to incorporate more greens into your diet is to add them to as many of your meals as possible. Add some greens to a winter soup like this Black Bean & Kale Soup, toss a handful into this Kale & Spinach Pesto or slide some onto this Grilled Cheese with Arugula & Apples. You’ll add freshness, flavor and vital nutrients!
2. Pack a lunch! Year after year, saving money is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions. Save money and eat better by skipping the lunchtime takeout and packing a delicious, nutritious meal from home! Whip up this Mason Jar Spring Salad or make a batch of Chicken Salad with Arugula on Sunday and enjoy wraps all week!
3. Give back! Research has found that volunteering has a number of health benefits, from lowering the risk of depression to helping you live longer. That’s right! Giving back is good for your health. It reduces stress, brings feelings of satisfaction and creates a greater sense of purpose. Find a cause you care about in your community and commit to making a positive impact this year.
Cheers to a fresh and happy 2020!
