A perfect glaze for your favorite sugar cookies!
Pour 1 bottle of Garden Punch juice into a small sauce pot over medium heat and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let the juice cook until it is reduced to about ⅓ to ¼ of a cup in volume, about 20 minutes, being careful to maintain a simmer and not scorch the juice. It should be thick enough to coat a spoon when finished.
Whisk the juice with 1 ½ cups confectioner’s sugar – adding sugar to juice slowly, ¼ cup at a time, whisking all the while. Glaze should be thick and pale pink in color.
To use: Take cool cookies and dip one at a time into glaze, letting any extra drip back into the bowl. Glaze will set quickly so work fast! Decorate cookies with candied ginger if desired.
