What’s your favorite recipe or #1 tip in the kitchen?

I love to cook, so that’s a hard question! Here’s a good hardy soup suggestion:

Pasta E Fagioli

  • 1 lb. Sausage (I use Jimmy Dean’s Regular…hang with me, it really is good)
  • Garlic-about 3 cloves
  • 28 oz. can of Crushed Tomatoes
  • 15 oz can of Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 cans Cannellini Beans Drained
  • 32 oz. Chicken Broth
  • 2 9 oz. Olivia’s Steamable Spinach
  • Olive Oil
  • 4 oz. Ditalini Pasta
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • Crushed Red Pepper – ½ tsp
  • Dehydrated Onions- 2 T
  • Basil-1 tsp

Cook Sausage until browned. Drain grease from pan. Add Crushed Tomatoes, diced tomatoes, garlic and chicken broth. Add red pepper, onions, and basil. Cooked until thoroughly warmed and add more water or chicken broth if needed. Add the beans and the olive oil; then cook for about an hour.

Make the pasta according to the directions on the package, add to the soup and add the spinach. Once the spinach is wilted, you are ready to serve. Sprinkle with cheese, if desired.

This recipe can be doubled and keeps extremely well. Warms up well in the microwave.

You already shared your favorite Olivia’s product, but you must have a favorite cheat treat! Spill the beans on your favorite go-to snack!

I have a lot of them … probably a really good fruit pie, peach, cherry, pumpkin, with a crumb topping, (not on the pumpkin, though…)
