Few things are as versatile in the kitchen as baby spinach. Whether enjoyed raw or cooked, it’s delicious and super convenient. Simply cook it up in minutes or add it to long-simmering stews and slow-cooker recipes.
Plus … it’s as healthy as it is adaptable! Spinach is good for your metabolism, your eyes, your heart, your blood pressure, and your long-term health. Best of all, it’s delicious. From Asian inspired dishes to Italian cuisine, smoothies to soups to sweets – there are very few recipes that wouldn’t benefit from an extra handful of spinach.
This week, we’re sharing some of our favorite recipes featuring the awesome goodness of Olivia’s Organics fresh baby spinach. Check ‘em out!
Chocolate Chip Cookies – Back by popular demand! Spinach plus banana and chocolate chips serve as a perfect concoction for one of our favorite sweet treats! Bonus tip: swap the walnuts with pecans for even more yumminess!
Broccoli Spinach Soup – Two Olivia’s products are better than one! We like to blend this soup until its super-smooth, but leaving a few filling chunks throughout could work as well. Be sure to serve with a nice hunk of warm, crusty bread. Bonus tip: Our Spinach Focaccia Bread pairs well!
Spinach Cheese Strata – Brunch just got a little better with this straightforward strata recipe. You could easily omit the sausage for a vegetarian take on this delicious dish.
Spinach & Cheese Enchiladas – Bonus points if you opt to make your own sauce for these fabulous enchiladas. Double bonus points if you make enough to freeze!
Voila! Four easy recipes that harness spinach’s superstar status to create meals that taste great and are good for you.
