We’re back this week with another batch of delicious new dishes from the Olivia’s Organics recipe archive!
We love, love, love testing out new recipes. Don’t you? New recipes are a chance to try something new and hone your skills in the kitchen. Your efforts are always rewarded with something exciting, and usually something delicious. And nothing beats finding a real winner that can be added to your regular recipe repertoire.
Here are three new recipes we’re trying out these days, including a toast topping that just might become your new favorite. Check ‘em out!
Fresh, farmer’s market-friendly ingredients? Check. The perfect blend of sweet and savory? Check. ENDLESSLY customizable? Check! This strawberry toast (don’t forget the kale) is simple enough to be your new go-to breakfast and interesting enough to serve at your next gathering.
Kale Grilled Cheese:
We can debate forever about whether butter or mayo goes on the outside of a grilled cheese. But when it comes to the inside, we’re sticking with this kale, bacon, and cheese combo. The cheese blend is up to you (but you know it’s tough to beat Brie and fontina).
Mushroom Tortellini with Spinach & Tomatoes:
Cheese tortellini is great, but it’s really the tip of the iceberg when it comes to pasta fillings. This recipe calls for mushroom inside the tortellini, which imparts a deep flavor that complements the spinach and tomatoes in the sauce.
We hope you give these new recipes a spin and enjoy them as much as we do. Now it’s your turn … what’s on your menu for this week? Are you trying something new or sticking with the tried-and-true? What’s your favorite toast topping or tortellini filling?
