There’s certainly plenty to celebrate at this time of year. Holiday parties at work, school celebrations, gatherings with friends and family, the list goes on and on. As much as we love a nice sit-down meal at a restaurant, there is nothing quite like gathering in someone’s home and sharing good food with great friends.
With that end in mind, we’re sharing some of our favorite recipes for holiday party appetizers. These are the perfect start to a full menu you’ll prepare yourself or as the solo dish you bring to a party or potluck. The hardest part will be choosing which one to make!
Spinach Puffs:
The secret to this recipe is the combo of nutty Pecorino and tangy goat cheese, which blend together into something delectably delicious. Puff pastry sheets make it easy and save time!
Baked Brie and Spinach Appetizer:
No one will be surprised to see this on the appetizer plate, but they won’t be mad either. It’s a classic for a reason. And you know we had to sneak some Olivia’s spinach on the plate for presentation – and flavor!
Roasted Tomato Kale and Ricotta Toast:
If you’re going to buy tomatoes out of season, grape tomatoes are the way to go. This version makes the most of them by roasting them with a healthy swig of olive oil and a dash of salt and pepper.
Arugula, Prosciutto Salad:
Simple, fresh, elegant, delicious. Opt for the best prosciutto you can find (any dried ham will do in a pinch) and let this fantastic flavor combo do the rest!
Voila! Four amazing apps sure to be the hit of your holiday gathering this year. Now we want to hear from you. Do you prefer to host or be the guest?
