News has already leeked about our latest product to hit produce shelves. That’s right! We’re thrilled to announce Olivia’s Organics Trimmed Leeks!
Leeks are the cool, mysterious and sweeter cousin to the onion. An aromatic in the allium family, leeks have a delicate flavor while adding depth and texture to a variety of dishes. And since we’re all about making it super easy to get healthy and delicious meals onto the dinner table, we’ve trimmed and rinsed our organic leeks for your convenience. Enjoy leeks on their own … caramelize, pickle, sauté and braise them. Or use them in soups, casseroles and sauces. Read on for two of our favorite recipes crafted for the awesome leek!
Pasta with Shrimp & Leeks: This dish showcases just how versatile leeks can be. Shrimp and leeks combine to create savory greatness, while green peas add a hint of sweet and a pop of color.
Potato Leek Soup: This hearty, winter-ready soup is a classic and delicious use of leeks. Enjoy this soup smooth or chunky!
Ta da! Two tasty recipes featuring our new Olivia’s Organics Trimmed Leeks. Look for them in your grocer’s produce section or wherever you get your favorite Olivia’s products! Don’t see them on the shelves? Please ask your grocer to stock them! And just like all of Olivia’s products, your purchase of our leeks supports the Olivia’s Organics Children’s Foundation.
Exciting new products aren’t the only thing we’ve been up to lately. We’re giving away a few copies to lucky Olivia’s fans, and this week we’re happy to announce the first winner … Lori from Warwick, NY!
