There’s so much to love about this time of year. The festive spirit and sparkly decorations, picking out the perfect gifts, and, of course, the food! No matter the season or celebration, food is always at the top of our list. From cookies for Santa to the Feast of the Seven Fishes, we love every bit of the creativity and deliciousness that goes into holiday recipes.
In this week’s newsletter, we’re sharing some of our favorite festive dishes. We hope you’ll try ‘em out – who knows, you may discover your next holiday tradition!
Celery, Fennel & White Bean Soup – Get ready for some amazing aromas wafting through the house. This winter soup combines simple ingredients to create a creamy, indulgent soup that works as a first course or a light main dish. Make a big batch to reheat during the holiday break.
Butternut Squash Ravioli – Store-bought pasta is good, and frozen ravioli is fine for a weeknight dinner. But there’s nothing better than fresh, homemade pasta. Indulge in a bit of downtime to spend an afternoon in the kitchen making these delicious butternut squash ravioli. Bonus points if you get a child or family member involved!
Leek and Mushroom Risotto – Here’s another delicious dish that gets better with every extra minute spent in the kitchen. Pre-trimmed leeks from Olivia’s make the process that much easier — just get stirring!
Dark Chocolate & Kale Tort – There’s no shortage of sweets over the holidays. Once you’ve had your fill of cookies, give this more sophisticated dessert a spin. Kale adds an earthy richness and counts as one of your veggies for the day!
Ta da! Four delicious recipes that will add some scrumptious cheer to your holiday season.
As we close the books on 2020, we wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation and gratitude for everyone in our extended Olivia’s family. To our employees, our customers, our partners, our fans and especially YOU, our readers, thank you for your tremendous support. This year is one we won’t soon forget, but we got through it together. We couldn’t have done it without all of you.
With that, we wish you and your loved ones a happy and HEALTHY 2021.
Thanks for making Olivia’s part of your fresh life.
