If you’ve been reading our newsletter for a while, you know all of us at Team Olivia’s are big fans of KidsGardening – a fantastic national nonprofit on a mission to create opportunities for kids to play, learn, and grow through gardening, engaging their natural curiosity and wonder.

Each April, KidsGardening celebrates kids in the garden with their Kids Garden Month contest. The organization is celebrating with a kid-centered contest, asking kids to share their favorite thing about gardening. Kids can enter with a creative video, photo, art, or creative writing. Kids 0-18 are eligible to enter the Kids Garden Month contest.

Entries can be from individuals, classrooms, or other groups of young gardeners. Entries are judged on creativity, originality, and enthusiasm. Kids can submit short videos, art, photographs, or creative writing.

Prizes include money for a school or youth garden, seed collections, care packages, books, gardening supplies, and more!
