Yes, it’s football season. Yes, it’s the holiday season. But here at Olivia’s, there’s another season we’re pretty excited about. Butternut squash season!
Each year, our beloved butternut squash offers up countless ways to create healthy, filling, and colorful dishes, from breakfast right on through to dessert! Best of all, Olivia’s butternut squash comes pre-peeled and pre-washed in either halves or cubes. That means you can skip the prep and get right to cooking.
This week, we’re bringing you some of our favorite butternut squash recipes from the Olivia’s Organics archive. Check ‘em out!
Butternut Squash Date Butter:
If you thought pumpkin butter tasted like fall, wait until you try this! A package of cubed squash gets boiled and blended with dates, maple syrup, and cinnamon for the ultimate fall “butter.” It’s great on toast and is a natural for stirring into oatmeal or yogurt.
Butternut Squash & Sausage Pasta:
Move over, marinara. Step aside, pesto. This sauce made from roasted butternut squash and garlic will be your new favorite pasta partner. This recipe combines it with pasta and sausage, but the opportunities are endless!
Chicken & Veggie Sheet Pan Dinner:
5 ingredients. 2 steps. 45 minutes. Name a better weeknight dinner recipe. We’ll wait.
