Family - a one word mission statement
Family. Can you think of a more powerful word? All over the world, being part of a family is what makes the difference between living and merely existing.
Family is about loving, caring, protecting and nurturing. It's about our employees, our customers and our consumers. It’s about making our homes safe, happy and healthy – our planet too!
At Olivia’s Organics, family is a one-word mission statement. Because it not only says who we are, it says why we do what we do and who we do it for. It sets our goals and defines our responsibilities.
Our story goes back over 75 years to a time when Olivia's great grandfather, Giovanni, sold celery hearts out of a produce stall in Boston’s North End. Today, Olivia's Organics continues that family tradition by providing the freshest organic tender leaf lettuces and greens, celery hearts, and squash.
Giving back to the earth
One of the first rules of organic farming is to give back to the earth. We take that literally in our growing practices by nurturing the soil for sustainable growth. But taking care of the planet doesn’t stop in the fields.
Eat Healthy. Have Fun. Give Back.
We also give back by investing in opportunities and programs for the children who live in the communities where our products are sold. With every Olivia’s Organics purchase, a percentage of our proceeds go directly to the Olivia's Organics Children’s Foundation.
We find the more we give, the more we enjoy. That's what makes living the Olivia's way healthy, wholesome and fun!
