Olivia’s Organics Lends a Helping Hand at Three Boston-Area Food Events, September 17-19

Chelsea, Mass. (September 17-19, 2016) – Olivia’s Organics, a leading supplier of organic tender leaf greens, spinach and celery hearts today announced its participation in three Boston-area food events beginning Saturday, September 17th and running through Monday, September 19th. During each event, the Olivia’s team will be out in full force demonstrating the company’s commitment to supporting meaningful causes in the communities it serves while mingling with organic devotees and friends.  At all three community events, the Olivia’s team will offer free samples of its fresh, organic spring mix with a choice of delicious dressings. 

Olivia’s Organics Weekend Event Roster

Saturday, September 17 from 3:00pm-9:00pm: Olivia’s Organics will serve as an event sponsor at the The Taste of WGBH Food & Wine Festival at the WGBH Studios in Boston.  The event features international cuisine and beverages, demonstrations from award-winning chefs, panel discussions and musical guests at WGBH Studios in the lot behind the 1 Guest Street Building and the New Balance Fitness Center. In addition to Olivia’s sample offering, festivalgoers who visit the Olivia’s tent can enter for a chance to win a year’s worth of free Olivia’s products as well as a Salad Lover’s Dream Bowl — a bountiful gift basket filled with everything you need to start preparing delicious, healthy salads at home.

Sunday, September 18 from 11:00 a.m-5:00p.m.: Olivia’s Organics is proud to be a highlighted vendor at the Boston Local Food Festival at the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Boston Local Food Festival is a free outdoor festival that showcases farmers, local restaurants, food trucks, specialty food producers, fisher folks and organizations focusing on healthy food and fitness from New England. The festival also features lively chef & DIY demos, a seafood throw-down competition, diverse music and performances, a family fun zone and more. Once again, eventgoers can sample delicious Olivia’s spring mix and enter for a chance to win another dream bowl, and a year’s worth of Olivia’s.

Monday, September 19 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.: Olivia’s Organics is proud to be a featured Taste 2016 at Taste of Chelsea 2016 located on Chelsea’s Waterfront. Now in its 13th year, this popular event brings together corporate sponsors, local businesses, area food and beverage vendors, volunteers, survivors and more than 500 people to show their commitment to being part of the solution to fighting violence and abuse.  The Olivia’s Team will be on hand at Taste of Chelsea 2016 providing fresh organic salad.
